Keya Chalk Walker is the Founder, CEO, and President of The Patchwork Agency, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting blended families—particularly those navigating the complexities of court-ordered visitation. Drawing from nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and five years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Keya brings a holistic, compassionate, and community-rooted perspective to family wellness and empowerment.
A proud graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College (ADN, 2007), Grand Canyon University (BSN, 2014), and Valdosta State University (MSN, 2020), Keya has spent her career serving vulnerable populations. She has worked extensively in nonprofit clinical settings, providing quality care to uninsured and at-risk individuals, and continues to volunteer at local health fairs and community clinics.
Inspired by her own experiences as a single mother and step-parent, Keya founded The Patchwork Agency to bridge the gap between legal, emotional, and practical support for modern families. Under her leadership, the organization offers legal advocacy, counseling resources, and community partnerships aimed at helping families build cooperative, child-centered co-parenting dynamics.
Keya's vision is to create a nurturing hub where blended families can access the tools, support, and healing they need to thrive—while championing systems-level change through collaboration with courts, counselors, and local organizations.
